Cochin Cancer Research Center (CCRC) is conceived as an apex cancer center that will primarily coordinate care of cancer patients of central Kerala. The center is envisaged to adopt the newly constituted strategy of Govt. of kerala for cancer prevention, awareness, education and research. It has the mandate to improve outcome of cancer care through applied research and to establish academic program that will address the human resource need of the region. It is strategically located in central Kerala where there is critical need for a comprehensive cancer center.
